Just to make sure we're all on the same page, it is the long, horizontal 1/4" thick address bar that holds the http://etc. etc. addresses we type in. There is a down arrow at the extreme right and a horizontal right pointing "GO" arrow next to it. When you click on the down arrow, you get a list of about 20 old website addresses. These are the ones I want to eliminate. How do I do it? Nothing I've tried works. they seem to want to stay there!!
