What computer is faster a apple mc or a microsoft?

apples run faster on the same resources, but imagine a car that runs faster on less gas but can only drive on 30% of the roads.  windows runs more software.  so.......whats important to you, just internet and media--apple.  running a business that involves alot of other file types and tons of software--windows

Depends on what you want!

and microsoft is a company that makes the software, not the actual machine!

so if your talking about windows it would depend on the manufacturer, like sony, toshiba, hp...etc.
