How to open a .zip file accidentally made to open with internet explorer?

I accidentally made it so that my computer would open.zip files with internet explorer and when I try to open it, multiple windows that I can't stop unless I log off flash on my screen... I don't know how to revert it the way it was before!

i don't have a winZIP or winRAR program. I mean the default program windows opened it with. i don't know what it is or how to get it back

So you can download WinRar or 7-Zip.They are softwares can help you open .zip files and .rar files.
After you installed it ,you can open your .zip file
